Is Fizzy Always Better? Why We Skipped the Bubbles
If you walk down any drinks aisle you’ll see a flood of sparkling options and that oh-so-fizzy promise of refreshment - but what if fizz isn’t always the answer?
Here’s why we went against the grain — and left the bubbles out.
Fizzy dominates the gut health space
Prebiotics and gut health are buzzwords right now (and for good reason), but look closer, and you’ll notice that most gut-friendly drinks are sparkling.
From sodas to kombuchas, fizz is the go-to format, but not everyone wants that.
Let’s talk about bloating
While sparkling drinks can feel light and refreshing at first, they don’t always sit well — literally. Carbonation can cause:
- Bloating
- Gas and discomfort
- That overly full feeling
When you’re sipping something to support your gut, that’s the last thing you want.
Why we went smooth
Our drink is different. We wanted something gentle, creamy, and easy to enjoy any time of day, without the bloating.
So we skipped the fizz, and focussed on:
- A smooth, oat milk base
- Gut-loving prebiotic fibre
- Comfort in every can
The result? A drink that fits into your routine, not disrupts it.
We’re not anti-fizz. In fact, we love a good sparkling water moment, but for a drink designed to soothe your gut and fit into everyday life, bubbles felt like a mismatch.
The Good Kynd Way
Fizz isn’t always better. Sometimes, a smoother sip says more.
Our ready-to-drink chai is proof that you don’t need bubbles to feel good — you just need the right ingredients, a little comfort, and something that actually works for your body.
